Established in 1947 by M. George Ikola, passed on to his son Gerry Ikola, and then to Gerry's son and daughter, M. Gabe Ikola and Erika Sussi, we are a 3rd generation family logging contractor. Our commitment to quality logging and road building services has shaped our reputation in central Idaho.

M. George Ikola started our logging business in Horseshoe Bend, ID with his brother. After a short time, George bought out his brother and moved the business to McCall, ID.
Gerry L. Ikola took over the operation of the business after he completed his Business Degree at Idaho State University. Gerry has served on countless boards and associations during his career, notably the Associated Logging Contractors of Idaho, Idaho Forests Products Commission, Idaho State Scaling Board, Intermountain Logging Conference Board of Directors, Big Payette Water Quality Coalition and the McCall-Donnelly School Board.
Gerry's daughter Erika Sussi started her career in the family business in 1998. She has experience laying out job sites, driving trucks, and operating equipment. Erika is the current chair of the Idaho Forest Products Commission and a Past President of the Intermountain Logging Conference.
Gerry's son Gabe Ikola started logging in 2001. He has extensive experience operating equipment and driving trucks. Gabe currently serves on the Intermountain Logging Conference Board of Directors.
